Missing Teeth

Landscape Pictures/Photographs of the Lothians, Scotland

The Dragon's Teeth, Cramond, at high tide on a hazy evening.

The so-called "Dragon's Teeth" were constructed as a coastal defence measure in WW2 to prevent U-Boats and other craft passing south of Cramond Island at high tide on their way up the River Forth to attack the dockyards at Rosyth.
